Job Summary: Provides specialized IT technical support, ensuring efficient operation and high availability of equipment and networks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide technical support for computing, telephony, audio, and video equipment. 2. Support network performance analysis and reporting to the IT coordination team. 3. Train users on the use of information technology and communication tools. REQUIRED EDUCATION: 1. Technical degree in Systems or equivalent — Mandatory. 2. Systems Engineering intern (Optional). Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Work Location: Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico A. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: 1. Proficiency with end-user software packages. 2. Knowledge of computing equipment and networks. 3. Up-to-date with emerging information management technologies. 4. Knowledge of telephony, audio, and video systems. 3. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION 3.1 Provide technical support for the Center’s computing, telephony, audio, and video equipment. 3.2 Respond to user requests and those from the IT coordination team. 3.3 Analyze network and equipment performance, and report any anomalies to the IT coordination team. 3.4 Assist in preparing reports and documentation for the IT coordination team. 3.5 Follow up on audio, video, and computing resource needs for scheduled events. 3.6 Train users on the use of information technology, audio, and video tools. 3.7 Assist with database and software backup and update tasks. 3.8 Assist with updating equipment inventories. 3.9 Monitor and support the equipment maintenance plan. 3.10 Collaborate to foster an optimal working environment among staff. Ensure efficient operation and high availability of computing equipment and the CRIT’s technological network.
