Provide continuous training on technological tools and certifications. **Operating Systems Specialist (Windows \& Linux)** At NSK Consulting, we operate and protect critical infrastructure for organizations across multiple industries. We seek an Operating Systems Specialist with strong expertise in both Microsoft platforms and major Linux distributions to join a long-term Data Center management project. **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** * Administer, migrate, configure, and provide second- and third-level support for Data Center servers on Windows and Linux platforms. * Manage OS updates, patch application, and system hardening. * Proactively monitor servers and resolve incidents within agreed response times. * Document configurations, procedures, and change controls. **REQUIRED PROFILE** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Networking, Computer Science, or related field (degree certificate and professional license required) * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of verifiable production server administration experience * **Windows Server:** 2000, 2003, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016 — administration, configuration, and support * **Linux:** Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian — administration and support * Service configuration: DNS, DHCP, NFS, Samba, Cron, Firewall (iptables / firewalld) * OS hardening and implementation of security policies * Scripting for automation: Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent * Open-source monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, or equivalent) * **Technical English:** Intermediate-to-advanced level — reading documentation, Red Hat KB articles, and manuals (mandatory) * **Work Mode:** Hybrid — on-site Monday–Friday plus remote overnight and weekend on-call duties, with possible on-site activation **REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS** The following technologies are mandatory; any certification or accreditation enhances hiring prospects. * Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) — highly valued * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) * Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator * LPI Linux Essentials, LPIC\-1 or LPIC\-2 **WHAT DO WE OFFER?** * Competitive salary aligned with experience and profile * Hybrid work arrangement * Performance-based bonuses * Vacation days and additional paid days off beyond statutory requirements * Continuous training on technological tools, certifications, and partner platforms (Fortinet, Check Point, Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, SentinelOne, Juniper, Trend Micro, Mimecast, and more) * Modern, organized workplace with real growth opportunities * Exposure to dynamic operations serving clients across multiple industries * Medium-term contract with potential conversion to indefinite-term based on performance * IMSS enrollment from day one Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000\.00 \- $70,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you currently reside in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area?
