We invite you to participate in our challenge as: Engineering Manager PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Responsible for managing human and material resources to ensure technical and engineering aspects align with the design plan and cost management within budget for the company’s oil and gas projects. This includes coordination with other internal departments for construction permits, on-site quality control, and liaison with local government authorities regarding the project. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure design and engineering development complies with client requirements. * Ensure planning development achieves the design and engineering required by external or internal company clients. * Ensure definition and acquisition of necessary information to meet design requirements. * Ensure design reviews are conducted as scheduled. * Ensure engineering reviews are conducted as scheduled, on time and correctly. * Ensure engineering complies with departmental standards, applicable codes, and best practices in engineering and construction, coordinated with client requirements. * Ensure control over suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. * Ensure availability and control of human and material resources. * Technical leader and expert in engineering and construction activities, including budgeting, internal staffing, and contractor management. * Directly responsible for the project budget and construction timelines. * Coordinate, approve, and supervise construction project execution, verifying compliance with safety factors and design requirements specified in applicable codes and industry-standard practices, adhering to project procedures and specifications. * Implement the accident prevention plan in coordination with all participating departments, complying with safety and environmental procedures. * Address internal and external audits (Verification Units, Sempra, Audits, CRE), follow up on observations and/or recommendations arising from such audits. * Report project construction progress results to management through executive reports.
