Job Summary: The Project Designer will be responsible for the development, coordination, and preparation of executive, architectural, and/or engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, functional, and aesthetic guidelines. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and Revit/BIM (desirable). **Position:** Project Designer **Department:** Architecture / Design and Project Planning **Reports to:** Project Coordinator / Design Manager / Technical Director Job Description The Project Designer is the professional responsible for the development, coordination, and preparation of executive, architectural, and/or engineering projects, ensuring adherence to established technical, regulatory, functional, and aesthetic guidelines. Job Objective To develop comprehensive and technically sound projects serving as the foundation for construction execution, ensuring clarity in graphical and technical information. Duties and Responsibilities · Preparation of preliminary and executive projects. · Development of architectural, structural, and installation drawings. · Integration of descriptive reports and technical specifications. · Coordination with other disciplines. · Review of current regulations and codes. · Updating of drawings according to project changes. · Technical support during the construction phase. Technical Knowledge · Construction regulations and current codes (local regulations, complementary technical standards). · Construction systems. · Construction detailing. · Reading and interpretation of drawings. · Construction materials and processes. · Quantification of construction volumes. Software Proficiency · AutoCAD (mandatory). · Revit / BIM (desirable). · SketchUp. · Civil 3D (as required by specialty). · Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). · Calculation or modeling software (as required by discipline). Academic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field. · Courses or diplomas in design, construction, or BIM (desirable). Required Experience · Minimum 1–3 years developing architectural and/or engineering projects. · Experience preparing executive projects for construction. · Experience coordinating with construction teams is desirable.
