***Profile: Chemical Engineer / Civil Engineer or related field***
***Experience and knowledge in WWTP***
* **Operation and Control of WWTP Processes:** Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations. Operate and adjust equipment controls (pumps, filters, aeration systems, etc.) to purify and clarify water. Monitor process variables and treatment performance.
* **Maintenance:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment and plant facilities. Monitor and control solid waste levels in sedimentation tanks.
* **Water Monitoring and Quality:** Collect and analyze water and wastewater samples using testing equipment to ensure compliance with environmental quality and safety regulations.
***Experience and knowledge in Rainwater Harvesting Systems (RHRS)***
* **Design and Installation:** Conduct hydrological studies to determine harvesting potential. Design and install system components: collection modules (roofs), conveyance (gutters and pipes), filtration, storage (tanks), and distribution.
* **Maintenance and Operation:** Ensure proper installation and functioning of all system infrastructure. Perform periodic maintenance, including cleaning of filters and collection areas to guarantee stored water quality.
* **Project Feasibility Assessment:** Evaluate system efficiency and propose sustainable solutions to optimize rainwater collection and use. Analyze site conditions, local rainfall harvesting potential, and client water needs to determine the most suitable system.
* **Monitoring and Quality:** Inspect construction to ensure adherence to quality standards and that the system operates as intended. Assess performance of the installed system in terms of quantity and quality of harvested water.
* **Maintenance:** Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance services, including cleaning of gutters and filters to prevent blockages.
* **Troubleshooting:** Identify and repair malfunctions or damage to equipment, pipes, and other components of the harvesting system.
