The position of **Stereo Mixer** is a key player at TransPerfect, they are needed for voice over recording, dubbing, editing, and mixing in a corporate setting. **Description:** * Oversee all aspects of voice recordings, including microphone placement, maintaining ideal sound levels, acquiring optimal acoustical environments and coaching voice talents * Quick and efficient editing, mixing, mastering, dubbing, and laybacks * Ability to work well independently and with a team. Must have experience working directly with clients * Will be interfacing with clients, producers, voice talent, and project managers * Studio maintenance, troubleshooting, and soldering * Completing all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor **Required Skills:** * Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Must be familiar with different file types, data compression, audio and video conversions, and video codec. * Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English * Ability to effectively multitask in order to simultaneously execute multiple projects * Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills * Ability to maintain professionalism, focus and results\-orientation in all situations, especially under tight deadlines * Understanding of gain staging, signal routing, compressors, limiters, DeEsser, equalizers, and phone patches * Complete fluency in Mac OS X, Pro Tools and Waves plug\-ins a must. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products **Experience \& Qualifications:** * At least 2 years of work experience required in related industries * Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent * Experience working in a corporate environment and dealing with dialog for corporate/industrial videos and phone systems * Experience with successfully processing, organizing and managing large amounts of data.
