**Job Purpose:** The Sales Waitress is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and promoting and selling menu items. This role is critical to ensuring a pleasant customer experience and contributing to the restaurant's sales success. **Key Responsibilities:** * Customer Service: * Greet customers warmly and provide personalized, friendly service throughout their dining experience. * Order Taking: * Take orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring full understanding of customers' preferences and needs. * Sales Promotion: * Recommend and promote menu items—including dishes, beverages, and desserts—to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. * Food and Beverage Service: * Serve food and beverages according to the restaurant’s quality and presentation standards. * Ensure order accuracy and timely delivery. * Payment Handling: * Manage the billing process, process payments, and provide correct change to customers accurately and efficiently. * Cleaning and Organization: * Maintain clean and organized tables and work areas, ensuring the restaurant remains immaculate for service. * Team Collaboration: * Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and promptly resolve any issues arising during service. * Compliance: * Adhere at all times to restaurant policies and procedures, as well as hygiene and sanitation regulations. **Job Requirements:** * Prior customer service or hospitality industry experience is preferred. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. * Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. * Basic knowledge of menu items and sales skills.
