DESCRIPTION
At Global Executive, we are seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager in Mexico City. This position will plan, direct, and control the overall operation of Human Resources, payroll, and administration within the assigned region, ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency, and proper human capital management aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
The Regional Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:
1\. Control and Management
* Control and management of the organizational structure of assigned branches.
* Supervise recruitment, selection, and hiring processes for operational and administrative staff.
* Coordinate onboarding, training, and staff development.
* Manage labor relations and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with internal policies and current labor regulations.
* Supervise turnover, absenteeism, and workplace climate indicators.
* Audit processes, personnel files, and documentary compliance.
2\. Payroll
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculation (weekly/biweekly).
* Supervise attendance incidents: absences, hours worked, overtime, disabilities, etc.
* Ensure tax and social security compliance (IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISR).
* Validate severance payments, settlements, and extraordinary payments.
* Coordinate internal and external payroll audits.
* Validate attendance incidents and administrative consistency impacting payroll.
3\. Administration
* Control regional administrative expenses.
* Supervise contracts, personnel files, and documentation.
* Coordinate general services (uniforms, equipment, supplies).
* Manage productivity and operational efficiency indicators.
* Coordinate with operations, finance, and corporate HR to implement corrective action plans.
4\. Regional Management
* Coordinate HR teams across different locations.
* Implement corporate strategies at the regional level.
* Report results to national management.
* Ensure process standardization across all branches.
* Intervene in critical branches or those with significant deviations.
* Monitor turnover.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration in regional or multi-branch positions, and 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role within companies with intensive personnel operations (ideally security, retail, or logistics).
Must have experience managing teams, as this position oversees at least 10 Managers/Supervisors.
This role requires a highly strategic individual capable of operating across multiple locations and maintaining remote oversight of various sites. The candidate must identify internal issues such as abuse of power or theft. Constant communication with each branch Manager/Supervisor is required to monitor daily operations. The candidate must maintain close relationships with staff, nurturing and developing talent.
Strong control orientation is essential, as the role includes administrative oversight of each employee (attendance, incidents, vacations, etc.).
Must have contact/knowledge of labor unions.
Must possess knowledge of Mexican labor legislation, payroll, social security, ERP systems, labor relations, and administration of large-scale operational personnel.
Frequent travel is required; the candidate must be results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
