Job Summary: Perform expansion, modification, and transmission engineering for capacity and internet services on the network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: 1. Development of transmission engineering solutions for customer services. 2. Conducting equipment homologation and quality testing for transmission equipment. 3. Implementation of expansions and modifications in the Core network. **OBJECTIVE:** Carry out expansion, modification, and transmission engineering using appropriate equipment for capacity and internet services deployed to customers across the Network Infrastructure in cities where the company operates its own network coverage or third-party network coverage. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop transmission engineering solutions according to the type of service requested by the customer, as specified in the finalized feasibility study. * Conduct homologation testing for transmission equipment, demarcation devices, and installation components. * Prepare feasibility studies for non-standard special services, including equipment and labor cost estimates. * Validate transmission quality tests (Y1564, RFC2544, Internet) for links between transmission equipment. * Execute expansions and modifications within the company’s Core transmission network. * Model operational equipment and circuits in the network management and administration software. * Perform attenuation budget calculations for transmission equipment across various topologies. * Validate back-reflection and insertion loss tests for links between transmission equipment. * Track purchase orders (POs) with suppliers. * Validate acceptance testing (ATP) for implemented transmission equipment. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field * Minimum 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications sector * English proficiency (50%) * Proficiency in Office, Project, CRM, and OSS tools **BENEFITS:** * Vacation Bonus: 75% * Savings Fund: 5% * Grocery Vouchers: 12% * Thirteenth-Month Bonus (Aguinaldo): 20 days * IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute) * INFONAVIT (National Workers’ Housing Fund Institute) * Vacation Days Salary: $26,000\.00 \- $29,000\.00 per hour Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Do you have knowledge of DWDM transport networks, Ethernet networks, MPLS, optical fiber testing methods, and transport network analyzers? * Have you performed installation, configuration, and commissioning of telecommunications equipment (radio, HFC, routers, core, aggregation)?
