Main activities to be carried out:
* Research and mapping of funding sources: Identify and analyze calls for proposals, funds, and potential donors—both nationally and internationally—that align with the organization’s objectives and needs.
* Develop clear and concise project proposals, ensuring compliance with each call’s requirements and highlighting the projects’ social impact and feasibility.
* Complete project application forms to secure funding from diverse sources.
* Administrative project management: Conduct detailed tracking of funded projects, including preparation of progress, financial, and narrative reports, as well as management of related documentation.
* Public relations and outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, government institutions, and other key stakeholders to strengthen the organization’s network and facilitate resource acquisition.
* Participation in events: Represent the organization at events related to fundraising and project management, aiming to promote initiatives and generate new collaboration opportunities.
* Budget support: Collaborate in developing detailed project budgets, ensuring the financial viability of initiatives.
* Project monitoring and evaluation: Continuously track project performance, assess outcomes achieved, and adjust strategies as needed.
Profile/Requirements
We are seeking a proactive and organized Project and Fundraising Assistant to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing funding opportunities, preparing strong proposals, and monitoring funded projects. Experience in funding research, proposal writing, and donor relationship management is required. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
Age: 25 years and older.
Education: Sociology, anthropology, social sciences, or business administration.
Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience.
