For participation in a very important upcoming project, we are seeking 2 Automation Engineers to join our team: **1 Senior PLC Programmer** 1 Semi\-Senior PLC Programmer Knowledge requirements: **Technical or university education in: MECHATRONICS, UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGIST, CONTROL ENGINEERING, INSTRUMENTATION, AUTOMATION, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ROBOTICS ENGINEERING AND/OR RELATED FIELDS.** Experience and knowledge primarily with Siemens PLC families and remote I/O equipment: S7\-200, S7\-300, S7\-400, S7\-1200, S7\-1500, ET200, etc. **Additional knowledge in:** **electricity, electronics, mechanics, industrial maintenance, industrial machinery and processes, experience with complete systems, commissioning/start\-up of machinery and equipment including PLC program development.** Proficiency in programming and simulation software: STEP 7, S7\-PLCSIM, Win CC, TIA Portal, SIMATIC, Micro WIN, SIMIT **Proficiency in Programming Languages (IEC 61131\-3):** **Proficiency in Ladder Diagram logic (LD/Ladder),** **Structured Text (ST),** **Function Block Diagrams (FBD) and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).** Experience in automation platform migration (revamping/upgrade) **Desirable experience and knowledge of PLCs from the following brands: Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider Electric, Delta, GE Fanuc, LS, Hitachi, Keyence, Koyo, ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Bosch, Beckhoff, Jumo, Wago, etc.** Experience handling Siemens HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces); experience with Allen Bradley (Rockwell) HMIs is desirable. **Proficiency in SCADA software, primarily Win CC; knowledge of Factory Talk, Aveva, Indusoft, Ignition, Intouch, Wonderware, or others is desirable.** Knowledge of frequency inverters and solid\-state starters **Knowledge of servo\-drives, SINAMICS servomotors, and motion control systems.** Desirable experience with conveyor lines, palletizers, stretch wrappers, packaging machines, accumulation tables, and depalletizers for the soft drink industry. **Proficiency in networks and communication protocols: Profibus, Profinet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, CC\-Link, Ethernet, Modbus/TCP\-IP, RS\-232C, RS\-485/422, AS\-interface, EtherCAT, etc.** Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, DTI’s, etc. **Knowledge of electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in industrial machinery and industrial processes** Proficiency in field sensors: photoelectric cells, ultrasonic, LASER, safety curtains, proximity sensors, analog sensors, displacement sensors, load cells, vision systems, etc. **Knowledge of AC motors and servo mechanisms** Proficiency in electrical measuring equipment and use of electrical tools **Flexible working hours** Positive attitude, service orientation, and proactive mindset Employment type: Full\-time Salary: $25,000\.00 \- $30,818\.32 per month Work location: On\-site employment
