Description
Job Objective
Plan, coordinate, and supervise plant production operations, ensuring adherence to manufacturing schedules, quality standards, food safety requirements, resource optimization, and achievement of productivity, safety, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
* Ensure on-time and complete fulfillment of the production schedule.
* Manage the operational team and mid-level production supervisors.
* Implement continuous improvements in processes, efficiency, and waste reduction.
* Guarantee compliance with quality and food safety standards.
* Coordinate actions with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics departments.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): productivity, yield loss, efficiency, downtime, and on-time delivery.
* Manage human and material resources within the department.
* Participate in internal and external audits.
* Ensure compliance with industrial safety policies and good manufacturing practices.
* Prepare operational reports and present results to senior management.
Required ProfileEducation
* Degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of production experience in the food industry.
* Prior experience leading teams of more than 50 people.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, food safety, and quality control.
* Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and KPI monitoring.
Technical Knowledge
* GMP / HACCP.
* Production planning and control.
* Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement.
* Industrial safety and hygiene.
* ERP systems and intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency.
