**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
Safeguard the integrity of accounting records by executing and documenting controls over inventories, fixed assets, and Inbound costs, ensuring variances are identified, analyzed, and corrected promptly — including discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. The role contributes to compliance with internal policies and SOX controls, and promotes process and reporting digitalization and optimization to enhance information traceability and consistency.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Control and analyze inventory adjustment accounts (CDU), ensuring correct identification, validation, and recording of variances.
* Execute and maintain documentation for MTD Inventory controls, including: Stock in Transit aging, monthly reconciliations between the logistics operator’s WMS and SAP, annual W2W control, and audit support ensuring adherence to SOX guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.
* Execute and document financial controls for the Record to Report (RTR) process related to Fixed Assets, including validation of internal order requests, proper capitalization of assets, timely closure of internal orders, monitoring of Work in Progress (WIP) to identify and resolve open balances, and annual physical asset count control.
* Validate and reconcile Inbound accounting information between SAP and Operations, develop the monthly pre-close forecast, and post corresponding accruals, ensuring appropriate cost allocation by plant and cost center. Generate insights on relevant risks and variances against FCST, strengthening early identification of financial impacts and closing process integrity.
* Drive process digitization and automation of controls and reporting, developing and optimizing tools to improve efficiency, traceability, and information quality.
**WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE?**
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation.
* 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial control roles, preferably within FMCG companies in CDU or manufacturing facilities.
* Experience in **inventory control and analysis**, reconciliations, and variance tracking.
* Participation in **monthly close (MEC)** processes, including accruals, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
* Experience working with **SAP (preferably FI/MM modules)**
* Advanced **Excel** skills (data analysis, pivot tables, reconciliations)
* Experience interacting with **Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain** (desirable)
* Knowledge of **internal controls, auditing, or SOX** (desirable)
* Data analysis: Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities against financial plans.
