




Position Summary: Coordinate institutional communication to strengthen the public image and relationships with media, partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring appropriate dissemination of messages. Institutional communication management and reputational crisis management. **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:** To coordinate and implement the communication activities of the Mexico National Office in accordance with the Branding, Safeguarding, and Institutional Ethics Policy, ensuring appropriate dissemination of institutional messages, strengthening of the public image, and strategic engagement with media, partners, allies, and other key stakeholders. This includes planning, implementing, monitoring, and ensuring communication activities. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Public Relations and Events** Execute the established events and brand ambassador plan, and follow up on project or partnership actions for positioning and fundraising (corporations or stakeholders). **Media Relations** Monitor the organization’s presence and media coverage. **Institutional Communication** Develop, update, and monitor institutional information to ensure consistent, coherent, and sustained organizational positioning across communication channels. **Spokesperson and SME Strategy Implementation** Adapt spokesperson and SME participation and management according to the proposed media platform. **Reputational Crisis Management and Emergency Response** Monitor reputational crisis cases and operational responses in line with the organization’s global protocols and standards. *\*\*Response times will be determined by the organization’s leadership. Therefore, proactive attention and follow-up on all actions are required.* Demonstrate commitment to and alignment with the organization’s philosophy, a child protection attitude, adherence to the Child Protection Policy, confidential handling of information related to the position and the organization, and participation in personal and others’ security measures as required. **PROFILE:** **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in similar positions within non-governmental organizations. Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing communications agencies and media outlets. Proven experience in media management, institutional writing, and campaign or event coordination. * Knowledge of media engagement with the third sector. * Knowledge of corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs enabling relationship-building for future collaborations. * Experience organizing public relations events—conferences, annual report events—or any event related to brand positioning. * Knowledge of and/or participation in cause-related events supporting an organization—desirable. * Institutional communication and public relations strategies, including participation in their implementation. * Proven experience in media management, institutional writing, and campaign or event coordination. * Knowledge of media engagement with the third sector. * Experience in outreach and relationship management with key stakeholders such as brand ambassadors or corporate marketing/CSR directors. * Knowledge of institutional protocol and spokesperson guidelines (desirable). * Knowledge of reputational crisis management protocol (desirable). **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Image, or related fields. Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Public Image. **Technical Skills:** Microsoft Office Suite Basic design platforms (Canva, Adobe Illustrator) Knowledge of CSR-focused media or official information sources for emergency response.
