




**Job Objective:** The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting commercial opportunities within the SME segment in Mexico through strategic prospecting and effective use of digital tools, with the aim of generating qualified leads for financing placements, building lasting client relationships, and contributing to the sustainable growth of Viwala’s loan portfolio. **Responsibilities:** **Sales and Business Development:** * Identify new business opportunities in Mexico’s SME market. * **Convert relationships into qualified leads** for financing placements. * Develop a robust pipeline of prospects using digital tools to achieve monthly targets. * Identify business opportunities by listening to customers’ needs and providing personalized advisory services. * Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product value proposition, as well as internal tools and processes. * Influence clients to initiate a relationship that supports their needs. * Offer tailored solutions aligned with those needs. * Ability to retain and expand your client portfolio by delivering excellent service. **Prospecting:** * Prospect and develop new business by understanding the needs and realities of diverse industries across the country. * Cold prospecting: attracting new clients using technological tools, social media, public SME databases, etc. * Client outreach via email, phone, and WhatsApp. * Fieldwork: attending prospecting sources (SME clients, chambers of commerce, trade fairs, business groups, etc.). * Generate opportunities through client referrals, commercial activities, and market-mapping exercises. * Schedule sales appointments and meetings with potential clients to present the company’s ecosystem and its benefits. * **Convert prospects into qualified leads** for financing placements. **Requirements:** * **Prior experience in venture capital (VC) funds, credit institutions, or payment platforms, with a focus on SMEs; experience with mid-sized companies (sales > MXN 100M) is mandatory** * **Strong experience in prospecting and alliance development** * **Knowledge of prospecting tools** * **Fluent English (B2–C1)** * Ability to handle basic financial topics * Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency in drafting written proposals * High adaptability and resilience * Experience managing a **CRM** for tracking sales processes (desirable) * Proactive * Results-oriented **Benefits** **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM **Employment Type:** Full-time, 100% payroll or fee-based, remote work based in CDMX **Salary:** MXN $30,000 net per month **Commission Structure** **Fixed monthly commission** **Performance bonus for exceeding quarterly targets** **Statutory Benefits** **Minor and Major Medical Expense Insurance** **Laptop** **20 vacation days** Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to MXN $30,000.00 per month Benefits: * Major Medical Expense Insurance Application Question(s): * CRM experience * Prior experience in venture capital (VC) funds Work Location: Remote
