Sample seamstress with proven experience in constructing and assembling multi\-style garments from scratch—including baby, children’s, men’s, girls’, and women’s apparel—with high-quality workmanship, speed, proficiency across various sewing machines, and keen attention to detail. IF THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT MET, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. **Duties and Responsibilities**: \- Interpret design intent and construct counter-sample prototypes, ensuring methods and documentation align consistently with manufacturing methods and processes. \- Understand all patterns and how they interconnect to complete a garment. \- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand. \- Collaborate with pattern makers to identify areas requiring quality improvements and support necessary changes during the product development process. \- Maintain technical specifications. \- Measure garments during construction according to specifications. \- Identify and communicate fabric behavior relevant to garment construction. \- Establish and maintain effective communication with designers, pattern makers, and the production department. \- Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and the product team to establish standard fit, sizing, and product consistency by product type/category and end use. \- Report on prototype and sample progress, ensuring adherence to product development and creation timelines. \- Develop and maintain accurate samples and measurement specifications. \- Excellent attention to detail. \- Participate in onboarding training programs for new hires. \- Capable of working independently and as part of a team. \- Manage workstation and perform routine equipment maintenance programs. \- Other related duties as required.
