




Job Summary: An innovation leader responsible for developing differentiated packaging and packaging solutions, focused on the consumer and competitive advantage. Key Highlights: 1. Lead innovation in packaging and packaging solutions for Nestlé Mexico. 2. Drive consumer-centric, cutting-edge, and sustainable solutions. 3. Develop prototypes and 3D visualizations for new proposals. **Temporary Contract: 6 months per project** **Location:** Corporate Offices, CDMX **Purpose of the Position:** Lead, drive, foster, and develop innovation through differentiated packaging and packaging solutions for all Nestlé Mexico business units, aligning their requirements with consumer needs, business unit requirements, internal departments, and customers—thereby securing a competitive advantage in the market. **Required Experience / Knowledge:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * 3–4 years of experience managing development projects for closures and injection-molded components, as well as raw materials and associated conversion processes (internal: part production; external: part application). * Measurement and testing methods for components. * Knowledge of packaging and packaging machinery technologies. * Tools: SAP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office/Outlook. **Key Responsibilities:** 1\. Packaging Development: Lead, manage, and implement packaging projects (feasibility studies, supplier collaboration, SPEC and material master data creation, etc.) through execution and handover to factory packaging engineering. 2\. Design Tools: Promote and implement design tools (FastPack, TechPack, IAT sessions, Packaging Wheel, Trend Mapping, Inclusive Design, Red Thread Process) in Nestlé sessions aimed at fostering innovation—both in packaging and product—to deliver consumer-centric solutions (inclusive, cutting-edge, sustainable, and optimized). 3\. Market Research / Analysis / Design Trends: By monitoring design trends (internet, trade shows, Nestlé Design Network) and analyzing both the Mexican market (local competition) and the global market (Nestlé World), propose new alternatives based on identified opportunities to generate value across the supply chain and product lifecycle. Manage the team of internal factory auditors. 4\. Conceptualization, Visualization, and Prototyping: Develop sketches, 3D models, renders, 2D drawings, and prototypes to visualize concepts for new packaging and product proposals, and to provide materials for consumer testing. 5\. Workshop Support: Support business units in workshops organized by various units and/or external agencies for concept visualization. Additionally, support the Nestlé Design Network in workshops organized by different markets requesting designer assistance.
