Description
Colegio Edgar Morin is seeking a committed and enthusiastic French teacher to join our bilingual education program. This position requires teaching 15 hours per week, focusing on strengthening high school students’ grammar, expanded vocabulary, reading comprehension, and oral production skills, while promoting conscious cultural immersion.
* Valid official French language certification (minimum B2 or C1 level, verifiable).
* Demonstrable teaching experience working with upper-secondary-level adolescents.
* Experience managing official certification processes (e.g., DELF/DALF exams); a key requirement is understanding the structure of their proficiency levels to align daily assessment with internationally mandated standards.
* Active participation in departmental collaborative work (e.g., developing structured lesson plans, designing exams and evaluation instruments aligned with certifications, continuous academic monitoring of students, and managing the virtual learning environment).
* Pedagogical ability to design interactive and playful communication activities.
* Experience using digital educational platforms such as Canvas and Google Workspace tools.
Salary: $200\.00 \- $300\.00 per hour
