We are currently seeking: ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT POSITION OBJECTIVE: To plan and conduct environmental assessments and training for the group’s suppliers and maquiladoras in coordination with Strategic Sourcing and Agricultural Procurement areas, ensuring responsible and validated suppliers and maquiladoras — thereby reducing business risk arising from third-party noncompliance with applicable environmental regulations, and promoting capacity development among them. JOB FUNCTIONS: • Develop the regulatory framework and verification checklist applicable to suppliers and maquiladoras. • Collaborate in applying environmental management system (EMS) criteria to their processes and those required of them. • Collaborate in supplier and maquiladora development. • Collaborate in strengthening the environmental culture of the group’s suppliers and maquiladoras. • Collaborate in representation activities before government agencies, industry associations, and NGOs, as required by the department and directed by management. • Various activities (e.g., supporting supplier payments and other administrative tasks required by the department). • Collaborate in tracking projects executed by the Environmental Sustainability Department. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Completed Bachelor’s or Engineering Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development Engineering, Environmental Systems Engineering, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience: • In environmental management measures, regulatory compliance, and control of water, soil, air, and other pollution. • In efficient water management practices. • Supporting environmental improvement projects. • In environmental and sustainability training, awareness-raising, and advisory services. Technical Knowledge: • Applicable environmental audit regulations and regulatory frameworks. • Project planning. • Conducting environmental audits. • Performance indicators. • Identification and management of environmental and climate-related impacts and risks. • Administrative procedures related to environmental matters. • Emissions inventory, life cycle analysis, and sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Technological Knowledge: • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Acrobat, and Adobe Reader. • Familiarity with web-based platforms for environmental regulations and sustainability information. Work Location: Herdez Corporate Office San Bartolo (Ingenieros Militares, Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX), near Toreo Metro Station. Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM; Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
