Job Summary: Ensure that products comply with quality and food safety standards through the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the quality and food safety management system. Positive work environment **Job Objective:** Ensure that manufactured products comply with national and international quality and food safety standards, as well as customer requirements, through the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the quality and food safety management system. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and POES. * Maintain and improve the quality and food safety management system (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000\). * Develop and monitor HACCP plans. * Coordinate internal and external audits (customers, certifications, COFEPRIS, etc.). * Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and production records. * Train personnel on quality, food safety, and regulatory topics. * Supervise the internal laboratory (if applicable) and coordinate microbiological analyses with external laboratories. * Manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive actions. * Update manuals, procedures, and system records. * Coordinate raw material and input supplier control. * Maintain contact with regulatory authorities and ensure legal compliance (NOM, Codex Alimentarius, etc.). **Requirements:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 2\-3 years in similar roles within the food industry. **Specific Knowledge:** * HACCP (mandatory) * GMP, POES * NOM\-251\-SSA1\-2009 and other related regulations * Quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC, etc.) * Internal and external audits * Statistical process control (desirable) * Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel desirable) **Skills:** * Leadership and team management * Effective communication * Problem solving * Organization and results orientation **We Offer:** * Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) * Statutory benefits * Opportunity for growth * Continuous training * Positive work environment Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $9,840\.00 \- $10,678\.00 per month Benefits: * Complimentary uniforms Work Location: On-site employment
