Requirements Bachelor of Science in Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry, or Microbiology and Parasitology (degree and professional license mandatory). Laboratory/Hospital experience. Experience in pediatric and geriatric patient sample collection, sample processing using automated, semi-automated, and manual instruments, and knowledge of internal quality control, including criteria for inclusion and exclusion of biological samples. Responsibilities: Collect samples from inpatients and outpatients, and process biological samples using automated, semi-automated, and manual equipment where applicable, applying calibration and quality control knowledge, and ensuring proper use of instruments and reagents during analysis. Ensure phlebotomy procedures comply with laboratory best practices. Operate the hospital’s and laboratory’s information systems. Ensure optimal equipment performance and test execution.
