Continuous improvement mindset and customer service orientation. **Position Summary:** We seek a payroll professional who brings experience including payroll preparation and processing, conducting and tracking ongoing data audits, as well as maintaining and establishing labor taxes. The ideal candidate has extensive payroll experience, ADP reporting expertise, state/local tax knowledge, and a continuous improvement mindset. **Responsibilities:** * Oversee payroll time records, time corrections, tax adjustments, and all electronic documents or interfaces related to the company’s ongoing payroll processes. * Ensure payroll is closed accurately by performing all data collection, reconciliation, and application of payroll policies per area of responsibility. * Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, responding promptly and delivering courteous customer service. * Document and maintain payroll procedures.\- Continuously review and improve payroll processing with the key objective of simplifying, standardizing, and strengthening team capability. * Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, responding promptly and delivering courteous customer service. * Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing reports as needed. * Deliver exceptional service and meet all payroll service-level requirements. * Address issues and provide solutions when service-level requirements are not met. * Ensure compliance with existing controls, including SOX compliance, internal audit, Flowserve policies, payroll procedures, and country/state/city laws. * Review and audit all hours, earnings, deductions, manual checks, and special actions prior to each payroll processing. * Provide strong support to our employees by delivering responses compliant with payroll laws and collective bargaining agreements. * Ensure data integrity within the payroll system and systems affecting payroll. * Execute special projects upon request, as needed. * Other assigned tasks. **Requirements:** * Must possess solid knowledge of payroll processes related to regional payroll. * Must have strong practical knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, payroll taxes, and human resources. * Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy regarding payroll auditing. * Must uphold strict ethical standards and be capable of handling confidential data. * Familiarity with Kronos time and attendance system. * Build relationships with regional HR, payroll staff, technical teams, other HR teams, and business leaders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services. * Strong customer service focus and understanding of appropriate customer relationship practices. * Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels. * Strong escalation skills, including ownership, de-escalation, root cause determination, and implementation of improvements to mitigate risk. * Ability to execute and generate reports. * Comfortable with technology and possess excellent Excel skills. * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field and 5\-7 years of relevant experience. **Preference:** * Experience working with ADP and other providers in addition to ADP is a plus.
