You will join a highly committed team eager to support your seamless onboarding, and together, we will achieve our goals. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise daily evaluation operations to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions. * Ensure proper application of credit policies, risk standards, and underwriting guidelines. * Monitor underwriting KPIs, including approval rates, time-to-contract, and delinquency levels. * Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to underwriting team members (loan managers). * Escalate complex or exceptional credit cases to the Credit and Risk team as needed. * Collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Product teams to support policy updates and operational changes. * Identify operational inefficiencies and propose process improvements. * Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. * Support onboarding and training of new underwriting team members. * Maintain appropriate documentation of underwriting processes and decisions. **Knowledge and Skills Required for This Role:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. * Knowledge of credit risk and underwriting processes. * Consumer loan products and Paylater models. Credit policies, scoring cards, and decision rules. * Operational performance management. * CRM and underwriting tools (e.g., Salesforce). **Essential Functional / Technical Skills:** * Strong analytical and decision-making skills. * Attention to detail and risk awareness. * Team supervision and training. * Process optimization mindset. * Ability to manage priorities in high-volume environments. * Advanced Excel skills. * Clear written and verbal communication. **Experience** * Experience in underwriting or credit risk roles. * Prior experience leading or supervising operational teams. * Experience in financial services or fintech environments (preferred). * Exposure to automated and manual credit decision-making processes. * Other: English, conversational level (preferred). **Top 5 Essential Criteria** * Solid understanding of credit risk. * People leadership capabilities. * Exceptional attention to detail. * Accountability. * Continuous improvement mindset. **What We Can Offer You** Work with the best team in a startup environment.
