A prominent company dedicated to the distribution of supplies, tools, and support for the electronics industry seeks: **Application and Sales Engineer, Lighting Division** **Requirements:** · Industrial, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or communications engineering, or a related field; candidates may be graduates or interns with more than half of their studies completed. · Minimum 4\-5 years of experience in marketing lighting products, including understanding technical datasheets and specifications, and familiarity with photometric curves. **Required Knowledge:** \* The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of the lighting sector and sufficient experience to provide technical support to assigned customers and expand the portfolio through prospecting in designated territories. Familiarity with component brands and manufacturer customers is required. Candidates must fluently manage quotation requests and the overall sales cycle, including collections. They must also demonstrate proficiency in preparing pre- and post-visit reports and field reports. **Job Responsibilities:** \* Serve existing customers and prospect new clients for products offered by the Division. Products include anodized aluminum for reflectors, LED cabinet drivers and power modules, emergency lighting drivers, optical diffuser sheets and profiles, luminaire suspension hardware, luminaire housings and bodies, photo\-controls, sensors, etc. Target Group customers seek solutions for improved commercial, industrial, and public lighting. These are precisely the solutions we offer — both high-end components and commonly used items — always maintaining very high quality. Customers include luminaire manufacturers, system integrators, assemblers, specifiers, and distributors of electrical and lighting components. **Skills:** · Strong aptitude for marketing technology products, with sufficient technical knowledge and effective communication skills; high commitment and accountability demonstrated through decisions, adherence to schedules and deadlines, proven attendance and punctuality, and employment stability. Must be trustworthy, professional, and maintain excellent appearance; demonstrate leadership when interacting with colleagues or building teams; exercise discretion and prudence in decision-making; remain calm and courteous while maintaining a firm attitude. Must foster teamwork while maintaining appropriate professional distance as required by the position; ability to work under pressure. **On-site Work Mode** \- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. \- Corporate offices, Col. Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas, Azcapotzalco, 02060 Ciudad de México, CDMX **We Offer:** \- Base salary: $15,000\.00 monthly upon hiring. \- Statutory Benefits: All legally mandated benefits. \- Extra-statutory Benefits: 4 discretionary half-days aligned with the annual calendar of unofficial holidays; 1 day off for the employee’s birthday; and 3 hours of justifiable leave per quarter. \- Commissions: 2% based on invoiced and collected sales each month. Calculated once per month and paid across two consecutive biweekly periods of the following month. ***Work Tools***: Provided by the company, including laptop and mobile phone when required, plus training and development courses as needed. ***Transportation:*** Preference for candidates with personal vehicles; in such cases, the company covers 50% of vehicle-related expenses (including fuel and maintenance), and 100% of tire and battery costs. Additionally, $1,400\.00 monthly is provided for local client visits; travel allowances for trips outside the urban area are reimbursed upon prior submission and approval.
