We are looking for a **Senior Data Scientist** with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Python to drive the development of advanced AI\-powered chatbot solutions for specialized domains. This role focuses on NLP, Conversational AI, Responsible AI and compliance, and the integration of external tools and databases. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with product, analytics and engineering teams to build and optimize a shopping assistant chatbot * Develop and refine prompt engineering strategies for enhanced chatbot interactions * Implement LLM\-based agents that integrate with APIs, databases and external tools via function calling * Ensure chatbot reliability and accuracy through hallucination prevention and model evaluation techniques * Apply Responsible AI and compliance principles to maintain ethical and regulatory standards * Work with A/B testing frameworks to evaluate and improve chatbot performance * Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to derive insights and create structured requirements for the data engineering team * Guide cloud engineering teams on infrastructure needs for AI\-powered chatbot solutions **Requirements** * 3\+ years of working experience in data science, NLP or Conversational AI development * Expertise in LLMs using OpenAI APIs on Azure, Python and function calling for AI agent development * Knowledge of hallucination prevention techniques and Responsible AI \& compliance best practices * Background in integrating AI workflows with external tools and databases * Understanding of prompt engineering, A/B testing and data analysis methods * Skills in collaborating with cross\-functional teams and guiding cloud engineering requirements * Fluent English communication skills at a B2\+ level **Nice to have** * Experience in A/B testing and experimentation with analytics teams * Ability to define and implement a testing strategy using key performance metrics for chatbots * Proficiency in exploratory data analysis (EDA) * Ability to create data requirements for the data engineering team * Understanding of cloud services or the ability to specify requirements for cloud engineering teams
