Due to expansion, we are seeking the following position: WAREHOUSE MANAGER Job Description: The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for supervising and optimizing raw material and finished product inventory management within a company manufacturing balanced animal feed. This role focuses on leading warehouse digitalization, enhancing inventory control, and reducing losses. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for implementing safety and quality standards in storage and dispatch operations. Requirements: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. · Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in large-scale warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing or the food industry. · Certifications (preferred): Lean Management, Six Sigma, or warehouse management certifications. Technical Knowledge: 1\. Inventory and Warehouse Management: Inventory control methods (FIFO, LIFO, FEFO), silo storage principles, and handling of large volumes of finished products. 2\. Warehouse Digitalization: Experience implementing and using WMS (Warehouse Management System) and ERP systems for real-time inventory monitoring and stock reporting. 3\. Logistics and Distribution: Knowledge of logistics strategies for optimizing storage space and managing large-scale dispatch operations. 4\. Quality and Safety: Familiarity with GMP, GAP, storage safety regulations, and food handling practices to preserve the quality of raw materials and finished products. 5\. Personnel Management: Training and performance evaluation of staff, team management, motivation, and leadership in a collaborative work environment. Functions and Responsibilities: 1\. Inventory Supervision and Control: o Direct and assign daily tasks to material handling personnel. o Coordinate receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards. o Implement procedures for proper inventory handling and loss minimization. o Identify, analyze, and resolve issues using root-cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. 2\. Digitalization and Process Optimization: o Lead warehouse digitalization by implementing an inventory management system (WMS). o Optimize inbound and outbound product processes while maintaining strict stock control and batch traceability. 3\. Space Planning and Optimization: o Manage warehouse logistics processes and inventory. o Maximize silo and warehouse space utilization to ensure adequate material availability and flow. o Establish organizational methods enabling efficient and safe inventory rotation. 4\. Quality and Safety Control: o Comply with the Quality Management System and maintain SHE standards. o Implement safety standards for handling and storing large volumes, adhering to applicable regulations. o Collaborate closely with the Quality Department to ensure standards are met at all storage stages. o Ensure compliance with and timely updating of assigned procedures based on continuous improvement. 5\. Team Leadership and Personnel Development: o Supervise and coordinate the warehouse team, setting clear goals and objectives. o Evaluate team performance, promote training, and foster an efficient working environment. o Develop and implement new strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs. o Identify problems and improve processes. Benefits: Gross monthly salary: $20,000.00 to $25,000.00 MXN Benefits: Above statutory requirements. Employment Type: Direct hire by the company.
