DE C.V. is seeking an Automotive Mechanical Technician at Mariano Escobedo 476\-a Anzures \- Miguel Hidalgo, Ciudad de México** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Position Profile: Automotive Mechanic** ----------------------------------------- **Location:** Mariano Escobedo, Polanco Neighborhood, Ciudad de México **Department:** Service / Workshop **Reports to:** Workshop Supervisor / Service Manager ### **Job Objective** Perform vehicle diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance, and mechanical repairs, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in accordance with the automotive dealership’s guidelines. ### **Functions and Responsibilities** * Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults using specialized tools. * Perform preventive maintenance services (oil changes, filter replacements, tune-ups, etc.). * Execute corrective repairs on engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering systems. * Use computerized diagnostic equipment. * Comply with the automotive brand’s established standards and procedures. * Prepare technical reports documenting performed repairs. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Ensure proper use of tools and equipment. * Timely report required spare parts. * Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations. ### **Requirements** **Education:** * Technical degree in Automotive Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 2–3 years in a similar role (preferably within an automotive dealership). **Technical Knowledge:** * General and advanced mechanics. * Electronic diagnostics (automotive scanner). * Vehicle electrical and electronic systems. * Gasoline and/or diesel engines. * Suspension, brakes, and transmission systems. ### **Skills** * Attention to detail * Diagnostic ability * Teamwork * Organization * Results orientation * Responsibility and commitment ### **Competencies** * Quality focus * Customer orientation * Problem solving * Working under pressure ### **Working Conditions** * **Schedule:** Full-time (may include Saturdays) * **Salary:** Competitive \+ statutory benefits \+ productivity incentives * **Workplace:** On-site (Polanco, CDMX) **Desired Education Level:** Upper Secondary **Desired Experience Level:** Mid-level **Departmental Function:** Maintenance and Repairs **Industry:** Automotive **Skills:** * automotive mechanics * spare parts *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=69d334c14300006000005e69\&source\=indeed*
