Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a technician in electromechanics or a related field with experience in automation and control, cutting machinery, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems to perform maintenance, diagnose faults, and optimize systems. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with PLCs (Siemens and Rockwell) and maintenance of sensors/actuators. 2. Operation of cutting machinery, precision mechanics, and CNC systems. 3. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including reading of schematics. Job Description: Competencies in Automation and Control * **PLCs (Siemens and Rockwell):** Ability to perform diagnostics (troubleshooting), real-time signal monitoring, and replacement of I/O modules. * **Sensors and Actuators:** Maintenance of limit switches, inductive sensors, laser positioning sensors, and encoders. * **Safety:** Knowledge of safety light curtains and emergency stop relays integrated into the PLC. Specialization in Cutting Machinery * **Precision Mechanics:** Adjustment of linear guides, ball screws, and alignment of cutting heads. * **Tooling:** Replacement and calibration of cutting consumables (discs, nozzles, or blades). * **CNC Systems:** Basic knowledge of the control interface for automated cutting or pressure-packaging machines. Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems * **Hydraulics:** Leak repair, replacement of cylinder seals, maintenance of power units (pumps), and adjustment of proportional valves. * **Pneumatics:** Installation and repair of solenoid valves, maintenance units (FRL), hoses, and quick-connect fittings. * **Schematic Reading:** Expert interpretation of symbolic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams. Primary Responsibilities * Perform preventive maintenance to avoid deviations in cutting accuracy, assembly, or pallet segregation. * Diagnose complex faults involving a combination of electrical errors and mechanical/hydraulic responses. * Optimize lubrication and cooling systems of cutting machines. * Maintain inventory of critical spare parts (valves, seals, PLC modules). Requirements and Soft Skills * **Education:** Technical degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field. * **Fault Analysis:** Ability to identify the "root cause" (e.g., is it a hydraulic pressure issue or a PLC command error?). * **Safety:** Strict adherence to **LOTO** (Lockout/Tagout) protocols.
