Ensure quality and safety at all stages. **Position Objective** Coordinate, supervise, and execute carpentry workshop operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production, meet delivery deadlines, and optimize materials, costs, and technical team performance. **Working Conditions** Location: Tailerra Workshop, Vicente Villada 35A, Ahuizotla, Naucalpan, State of México, ZIP Code 53378 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00 hrs Availability: Occasional weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays) required for on-site activities. **Main Responsibilities and Functions** **Production and Project Control** * Receive architectural/design drawings, specifications, and material take-offs. * Plan production schedules and task assignments. * Supervise assembly, fabrication, installation, and finishing. * Validate quality at each process stage. * Ensure adherence to delivery timelines. **Personnel Supervision** * Coordinate and supervise the carpentry team. * Train staff in techniques, safety protocols, and machinery operation. * Resolve operational incidents, absences, and task reassignments. * Evaluate performance and promote best work practices. **Procurement, Materials, and Warehouse Management** * Request and plan materials, hardware, laminates, wood, and consumables. * Verify quality of materials delivered by suppliers. * Manage inventory and minimize waste. * Negotiate delivery times and urgent replenishment of supplies. **Machinery, Safety, and Infrastructure** * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery. * Ensure compliance with workshop safety regulations. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper organization of the workspace. **Communication and Coordination** * Coordinate with architects, designers, and site supervisors. * Report progress, requirements, and production deviations. * Prepare deliveries and logistics for transportation/installation. **Position Requirements** * Minimum experience: 3–7 years in carpentry, including at least 2 years in supervision. **Required Technical Competencies** * Ability to read and interpret drawings and material take-offs. * Knowledge of furniture manufacturing using various materials and finishes. * Proficiency in operating machinery: squaring saws, CNC machines (if applicable), veneer presses, routers, calibrators, etc. * Inventory and procurement management. * Industrial safety standards. * Basic Excel skills and production control. **Key Competencies** * Operational leadership * Organization and critical thinking * Clear communication * Problem-solving * Decision-making under pressure * Strong sense of responsibility and quality Salary: $15,000.00 – $16,000.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
