Ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with current internal standards, policies, and procedures. ***Responsibilities*** * Promotes a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s extensive relationships, systems, and expertise. * Ensures plastic supply to adequately meet card production requirements. * Generates weekly inventory reports (plastics and materials). * Manages expedited delivery of plastics based on Business needs. * Coordinates with plastic suppliers to verify and schedule delivery dates at the personalizer’s warehouse and manage functionality testing. * Collaborates on new product launch projects to ensure timely supply of inputs (plastics and materials) per plan. * Coordinates destruction of scrap and cards required by the Bank, ensuring preparation of the corresponding destruction certificate. * Generates reports on debit and credit card production data to track records reported by SCOTIABANK versus the supplier. * Handles branch and internal department requests for card supply, as well as urgent debit and credit card shipments. * Addresses internal department requests and requirements regarding reporting and incidents observed in production with the supplier and the Technology area, as well as SFTP file deposits and/or transfers to the supplier. * Conducts physical validation of production delivered by the embossing supplier to ensure compliance with agreed packaging specifications and service-level commitments under contract. * Prepares reports to track metrics related to productive files deposited by the supplier via the SFTP channel for TDC (WCARGA and EMBTSYS2\). * Coordinates messenger services provided by the courier supplier to execute internal routes for production delivery and collection. * Conducts on-site visits with suppliers to ensure operational efficiency or implement process improvements. * Understands the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Actively performs effective and efficient operations within respective areas while ensuring the suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to fulfill obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities established under the Operational Risk Management Framework, the Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, the International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and the Business Conduct Guidelines.
