***Hotel El Ejecutivo is seeking*** **CHEF** **Job Objective** To prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with the hotel’s established standards, ensuring quality, hygiene, presentation, and flavor—thereby contributing to guest satisfaction and enhancing the establishment’s gastronomic reputation. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Prepare menu dishes according to established recipes and quality standards. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and disinfection of work areas, utensils, and equipment. * Ensure proper food handling and storage in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations (e.g., “Distintivo H,” etc.). * Supervise appropriate use of supplies and contribute to minimizing waste. * Collaborate in menu planning, inventory management, and raw material procurement. * Adhere to service timing requirements and dish presentation policies. * Support special events, banquets, and room service as required. * Report incidents to the Executive Chef. * Participate in training programs and maintain a mindset of continuous improvement. **Candidate Profile: Academic Background** * Technical or undergraduate degree in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or related field. * Food hygiene and handling courses (desirable). **Experience** * 1–3 years of experience in hotel kitchens or high-volume restaurants. * Experience in international cuisine, buffet service, and à la carte service. **Technical Knowledge** * Basic and advanced culinary techniques. * Food hygiene and safety regulations. * Inventory control and food rotation (FIFO). * Basic operation and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment. **Competencies and Skills** * Teamwork and ability to work under pressure. * Organization and cleanliness. * Culinary creativity. * Sense of urgency and attention to detail. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Service-oriented attitude.
