




At **Kino Laboratorios**, we are looking to add a **Field Engineer** specialized in **stationary sources, waste, and water** to our team. Your mission will be to conduct on-site environmental sampling and testing to ensure regulatory compliance and data reliability, according to **ISO/IEC 17025** standards and applicable environmental regulations in Mexico. Main Responsibilities * Perform sampling at **stationary sources, waste, and water** following accredited procedures. * Prepare and deliver complete, accurate, and validated field sheets. * Operate, verify, and report the condition of measurement instruments. * Comply with occupational safety, environmental, and client-specific protocols. * Provide feedback to Project Managers regarding incidents, timelines, and field conditions. * Represent the laboratory professionally at client facilities. Requirements * **Education:** Degree in Environmental, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **Desirable prior experience in any of the following areas:** * Environmental sampling (water, stationary sources, or waste), even if not in an accredited laboratory. * Professional internships, residencies, or academic projects related to **environmental monitoring, industrial safety, or quality**. * Experience in environmental service companies, industrial plants, or environmental consulting. * Knowledge of current Mexican environmental regulations: **LGEEPA**, **SEMARNAT NOMs**, and **PROFEPA** guidelines, with willingness to receive training in **ISO/IEC 17025**. * Basic proficiency in spreadsheets (formulas and pivot tables). * **Availability for frequent travel and for staying away from Hermosillo for weeks at a time.** * Skills: attention to detail, technical discipline, effective communication, and willingness to learn in the field.
