The ideal candidate specializes in ensuring the stability, performance, and operational continuity of the business’s critical systems, possesses the ability to technically lead teams, resolve complex production incidents, and apply sound development practices within legacy environments. **Responsibilities:** * Maintain and ensure continuous operation of critical systems. * Implement enhancements and evolutionary updates to existing applications. * Optimize application and database performance. * Address and resolve production incidents (root cause analysis). * Perform refactoring and improvement of legacy code. * Document developments, configurations, and technical solutions. * Support technical estimations and impact analysis. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. * Coordinate with functional areas to clarify technical requirements. **Requirements:** * Over 5 years of verifiable experience developing with **PowerBuilder (PB Classic / Appeon PowerBuilder)**. * Advanced proficiency in **DataWindow, DataStore, and Object-Oriented Programming**. * Administration and organization of libraries (.PBL). * Advanced handling of events, inheritance, and custom objects. * Experience maintaining and evolving legacy systems. * Client\-server architecture. * Consumption and integration of **Web Services (SOAP and REST)**. * Integration with relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL. * Development and optimization of: Stored Procedures, triggers, indexes, complex SQL queries. * Experience in performance analysis and optimization (performance tuning). * Diagnosis and resolution of critical incidents in production environments. * Version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps or similar). * Intermediate\-advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. * **On-site work mode; residence must be within a maximum one-hour commute from the workplace.** **Desirable Knowledge:** * Experience with Appeon PowerServer. * Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban). * Experience in partial migrations to .NET. * Functional testing and technical validation. * Best practices for security in enterprise applications. **We Offer:** * Monthly gross salary of $40,000 to $50,000, based on verifiable experience. * Grocery vouchers. * Bi-weekly payroll via BBVA. * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
