Coordination with suppliers and internal departments for continuous improvement **Nabe Human Capital Solutions is seeking a Freight Transportation Planner in Toluca, State of Mexico** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A prominent food manufacturing company is looking for: FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COORDINATOR Position Objective To ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective planning of freight transportation operations by optimizing routes, resources, and delivery times to meet customer service commitments and corporate objectives. Requirements: * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transportation Engineering or related field. * Technical Knowledge: Transportation management system software Route logistics Transportation cost structure and/or rate basket Transportation regulations Work Experience: * Minimum three years of experience in freight transportation. Responsibilities and Activities: * Design and coordinate land, maritime, or air freight transportation plans according to operational needs. * Analyze routes, costs, transit times, and risks to select the optimal logistical alternative. * Monitor on-time delivery performance and propose corrective actions in case of deviations. * Coordinate with transportation providers, operators, and internal departments (warehouse, procurement, production). * Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations governing transportation. * Prepare performance reports (KPIs: on-time delivery, costs, fleet utilization, incidents). * Implement technological tools for transportation management and optimization. * Participate in continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.
