Position Objective: Analyze, design, and develop programs aimed at incorporating new functionalities and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on business-critical systems. Implement improvements based on the collection and evaluation of operational information, verifying technical feasibility and ensuring software quality, with the goal of meeting the requirements and expectations of the involved departments. Key Responsibilities: · Analyze viable solutions to address requirements and projects. · Develop or modify software using best coding practices for iSeries AS400. · Ensure software quality by executing tests jointly with end users. · Implement system maintenance and update actions to guarantee functionality and operation. · Provide support to users of various iSeries AS400 systems regarding daily operations. Candidate Profile: **Experience**: 1 year in iSeries systems development. **Education**: Degree in Systems Development Engineering, Bachelor’s in Computer Systems Administration, Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or related field. Required Knowledge: * Programming languages: SQLRPGLE, SQL, RPGLE, RPGLE FREE, ILE COBOL, and COBOL. * Databases (DB2) * iSeries command-line operations We offer statutory benefits.
