Position Summary: Develop, test, and optimize shampoo formulas that meet criteria for efficacy, safety, stability, regulatory compliance, and market trends, aligned with the brand's commercial objectives. Stay up-to-date on trends and innovations in hair care. **Position Objective** Develop, test, and optimize shampoo formulas that meet criteria for efficacy, safety, stability, regulatory compliance, and market trends, aligned with the brand's commercial objectives. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Design and formulate shampoos according to specific needs (anti-hair loss, hydrating, oil-control, anti-dandruff, sulfate-free, natural, etc.). * Select and evaluate raw materials (surfactants, conditioners, actives, preservatives, fragrances). * Conduct laboratory tests: stability, pH, viscosity, compatibility, and performance. * Adjust formulas to improve texture, fragrance, foam, and efficacy. * Document recipes, processes, and test results. * Ensure compliance with current cosmetic regulations (COFEPRIS, INCI, Good Manufacturing Practices). * Collaborate with production, quality, and marketing departments for final product development. * Stay up-to-date on trends, new ingredients, and innovations in hair care. * Support scale-up of laboratory formulas to production. **Academic Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, Cosmetology, or related field **Technical Knowledge** * Hair care product formulation. * Use of anionic, amphoteric, and non-ionic surfactants. * Cosmetic preservation and microbiological control. * National and international cosmetic regulations. * Basic laboratory equipment operation. * Interpretation of technical data sheets and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Interested candidates should apply through this channel Salary: $15,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
