A leading food industry company, expanding its operations, is seeking: Cost Analyst * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Financial Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **Experience:** 3 to 5 years in the position (preferred) * Easy access to the Salto, Jalisco area * **Technical Knowledge:** SAP proficiency, Advanced Excel * **Skills:** Analytical attention to detail, negotiation, organizational ability, and strategic thinking. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct standard product cost analysis * Perform monthly manufacturing process variance analysis and track yield losses and price difference impacts. * Review production/manufacturing orders. Physical inventories of finished goods and raw materials. * Analyze and review new projects (profitability, costs, pricing proposals, etc.) * Implement and monitor departmental and project budgets. * Implement inventory controls * Purchase order review and approval process * Analyze financial information for joint decision-making with senior management. * Analyze financial data, perform costing and profitability analysis of production materials, control and report internal expense orders, participate in inventory activities. * Authorize purchase orders in SAP according to established criteria and budgets.
