Driving continuous improvement on production lines. **Your Job** **As a Test Technician at our El Salto facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our optical fiber products. In this position, you will combine your technical knowledge of electronics with proactive problem-solving to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Test Engineer, our team empowers every associate to take ownership of test processes, driving efficiency and technological reliability across our production lines.** **What You Will Do** * **Validate and execute functional and performance tests on optical fiber components, ensuring all products meet the most stringent quality standards.** * **Provide agile and timely technical support to production lines to minimize downtime and optimize operational flow.** * **Diagnose and resolve complex failures in equipment, fixtures, and test processes through systematic root cause analysis.** * **Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for specialized test and laboratory equipment.** * **Promote a safe, organized, and high-performing workplace by strictly adhering to safety regulations, equipment care protocols, and 5S standards.** **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)** * **Completed technical degree or ongoing/truncated engineering degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.** * **Experience providing technical support to engineering teams within a manufacturing environment.** * **Practical experience executing maintenance plans and performing root cause analysis on technical equipment.** * **General knowledge of electronics and ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, manuals, and test procedures in English (minimum A1 level).** **What Will Put You Ahead** * **Specialized experience or knowledge working directly with optical fiber components and test processes.** * **Basic knowledge or experience in developing, modifying, or updating automated test programs.** **At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
