





***Job Title: Data Center Engineer*** ***Job Objective*** *Manage, operate, and provide support for our clients’ technology infrastructure hosted in our data center (DC) and on-premises environments, ensuring optimal availability, continuity, and performance of servers, storage systems, networks, infrastructure, and virtualization platforms.* ***Key Responsibilities*** * *Administer physical and virtual servers in corporate environments.* * *Provide technical and operational support for the data center’s physical infrastructure (racks, cabling, PDUs, UPSs, air conditioning, etc.).* * *Manage and maintain network equipment (switches, firewalls, routers) in coordination with the relevant department.* * *Administer and support Windows and Linux operating systems.* * *Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and related services.* * *Operate and administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).* * *Administer NAS/SAN storage systems and Fibre Channel and iSCSI infrastructure.* * *Provide technical support for corporate applications and services.* * *Monitor infrastructure and respond to incidents, alerts, or failures.* * *Participate in infrastructure implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects.* * *Document configurations, procedures, and operational changes.* * *Ensure operational continuity through backup and recovery plans.* * *Design data center technology solutions.* *______________________________________________________________________________________**Required Technical Knowledge**Servers and Data Centers*** * *Server architecture (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco UCS).* * *Racking, structured cabling, space and power management.* * *Component replacement and knowledge of internal hardware components.* * *Equipment assembly and preparation from scratch.* ***Operating Systems and Hypervisors*** * *Windows Server (2012–2025)* * *Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)* * *VMware ESXi / vCenter or Microsoft Hyper-V* ***Active Directory*** * *Users, groups, OUs, Group Policies (GPOs).* * *Services: DNS, DHCP, certificates, IIS* ***Power and Physical Infrastructure*** * *Basic electrical knowledge applicable to IT environments.* * *Operation of UPSs, PDUs, and emergency power generators.* ***Storage*** * *NAS and SAN systems from major vendors (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, etc.).* * *Protocols: Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB.* * *FC switches (Brocade, Cisco MDS).* ***Monitoring Tools*** * *PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar.* ***Additional Requirements:*** * *Language: Intermediate-to-advanced technical English for client/manufacturer interactions.* * *Valid driver’s license and ability to drive standard (manual) and automatic vehicles.* *______________________________________________________________________________________**Professional Competencies*** * *Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.* * *Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents.* * *Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.* * *Attention to detail and documentation discipline.* * *Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in teams.* * *Task organization and prioritization skills.* *______________________________________________________________________________________**Academic Qualifications*** * *Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.* *______________________________________________________________________________________**Experience*** *By level:* * *1–2 years in technical support or infrastructure roles.* * *3–5 years administering servers and virtualization environments.* *______________________________________________________________________________________**Desirable Certifications*** * *VMware VCTA / VCP* * *Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-800/801* * *CompTIA Server+ or Network+* * *Cisco CCNA* * *ITIL Foundation* * *Dell/HPE Storage or Data Center certifications (or equivalent)* Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $15,000.00 – $25,000.00 per month Benefits: * Eligibility for indefinite-term contract Work Location: On-site
