To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Project Engineer** located in **Guadalajara,** **North Campus.**
*Reporting to Director, Operations,* **Project Engineer** *this role will be responsible for coordinating and executing New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and manufacturing support activities for assigned products.*
Ensures successful project execution by aligning engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer requirements, while driving improvements in cost, quality, and delivery performance.
**What a typical day looks like:**
* Evaluates and researches data and will propose product specifications to define feasibility of product proposal.
* Confers with all support team personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop corrective action, method improvement to resolve problems.
* Prepares or directs preparation of product layout and design by using detailed drawings (i.e., visuals, Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI).
* Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of prototype product or system.
* Evaluates inspection and test data and reports to define if design meets functional and performance specifications.
* Confers with other engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required.
* Evaluates inspection or test results for possible improvements of existing builds.
* Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.
* Coordinates engineering activities for the Customer Focus Team (CFT) and coordinates with the customer to resolve production problems.
* Develops and updates documentation to establish production methodology and requirements.
* Lead the execution of NPI projects from concept through production ramp
* Coordinate cross\-functional teams (Process, Test, Quality, Manufacturing)
* Drive project timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans
* Support product transfers and engineering change implementation (ECOs)
* Work with engineering teams to define product requirements, build plans, and test strategies
* Coordinate prototype builds and validation activities
* Evaluate test results and drive corrective actions and improvements
* Ensure readiness of manufacturing processes for new and existing products
* Support resolution of production issues, yield losses, and performance gaps
* Collaborate with Process and Test Engineering to improve manufacturability
* Act as key interface between customer and internal teams
* Project status

* Action plans
* Develop and maintain build documentation, process instructions, and project plans
* Ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team (required):**
* *BA/BS or equivalent work experience*.
* *Experience in similar position.*
* Advanced English (mandatory)
* *Experience in product engineering*
* *A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.*
* *Experience in NPI.*
* *Experience in costumer contact*
