Inventory Analyst / Guadalajara Cedis Job Objective: As an Inventory Analyst at Grupomar, you will be responsible for the company's inventory accuracy and consistency. Your primary mission is to ensure proper reconciliation of physical and batch inventories with SAP and the 3PL provider’s WMS records, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing product management—especially for short-shelf-life items. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordination and follow-up of cyclic inventories (via ERP systems). • Management of semi-annual inventories (ensuring counting accuracy). • Analysis and management of inventory discrepancies. • Control of short-shelf-life products (ensuring inventory data consistency). • Process optimization to identify root causes. REQUIREMENTS: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles, specifically in inventory management and warehouse inventory counts. Experience with perishable goods is mandatory. KNOWLEDGE: • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, handling large datasets). • Advanced SAP experience (inventory and batch management modules). • WMS system knowledge (preferred). SKILLS: • Effective communication to coordinate internal teams. • Negotiation skills to resolve inventory discrepancies and manage recoveries. • Customer service orientation (internal and external). • Analytical ability and capacity to handle extensive information databases. • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
