




Job Summary: The Quality Technician ensures compliance with internal and customer standards through audits and direct support on the production floor, with authority to stop the line if quality is compromised. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and conduct quality audits for in-process and final products. 2. Train and certify production personnel and quality auditors. 3. Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, EHS, Lean, safety). Your Role As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring production lines meet internal and customer quality standards by coordinating quality audits and providing direct support on the production floor. You will work closely with Quality Engineering to verify that corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively, and you will have the authority to stop the production line if quality or safety is compromised. Our Team You will join the Quality team within the DSS division, collaborating with manufacturing, process, and training supervisors to maintain high quality standards at the Guadalajara plant. What You’ll Do * Coordinate and conduct process, final product, and rework audits to assess compliance with procedures and specifications. * Prepare quality reports, alerts, and new product introduction results, including initial inspections. * Track process and raw material rejections, ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Train and certify production personnel and quality auditors. * Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, EHS, Lean, and safety programs. Who You Are (Basic Requirements) * Technical degree or engineering discipline. * Technical-level or equivalent quality auditor certification, with foundational knowledge of production and quality systems. * Basic knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9000, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, or ISO 13485. * Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, root cause analysis, Pareto, 8D, and DMAIC. * Ability to conduct audits and use statistical process control tools.
