





**Job Description** ------------------------- Ensure that no Truck/Tractor Operator drives under the influence of narcotics, monitor the health status of Truck/Tractor Operators, support reducing CEMEX's accident rate. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Check vital signs of truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Provide first aid or medical advice to truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Safeguard the lives of truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Supervise travel logbooks of truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Allow or deny a truck/tractor-trailer operator from making a trip based on their logbook records. * Administer drug tests to ensure no truck/tractor-trailer operator drives under the influence of narcotics. * Record medical history of truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Monitor the health status of truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Promote safety culture among truck/tractor-trailer operators. * Support efforts to reduce CEMEX's accident rate. **Position Challenges** -------------------- * Establish effective communication with operators * Identify and anticipate risk factors in operators * Identify unsafe acts and conditions within the facility * Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors within vehicles and operators. **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ * Education: o Technical degree or incomplete higher education (verifiable certificates in health-related fields) o English Language Proficiency: Basic * Required Experience: o 2 to 3 years in safety and health areas * Required Knowledge o Office Software Suite o First Aid o Verifiable training in safety and health topics **Relationships** -------------- Internal * Operators * Base Manager * Maintenance Supervisor * Operator Supervisor External * Construction and Infrastructure Clients (Handling and reporting complaints regarding volume or behavior) **Diversity and Inclusion at CEMEX** ----------------------------------- At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and conduct business.
