Collaborates with traffic executives and carriers A reputable customs agency is seeking a Traffic Assistant Main responsibilities include: * Request payment authorizations from the Traffic Executive via email; the Traffic Executive will then request authorization from their client and forward the email containing the client’s authorization. * Verify that everything is in order and no outstanding invoices remain unpaid. * Retrieve invoices for payments made and forward them to accounting. * Enter invoices into the internal system. * Request registration of new clients and suppliers. * Perform import release operations for loose cargo and/or containerized cargo on various operator websites. * Arrange transportation as required. * Confirm cargo appointment schedules with traffic executives. * Coordinate with transport carriers after release operations have been completed. * Request completed customs clearance files from the Operations Coordinator to verify which files require follow-up due to missing information. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field * Basic knowledge of Customs Law * Basic knowledge of Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) * Proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Skills: * Analytical and organizational abilities * Teamwork * Decision-making ability Salary: $9,000\.00 \- $10,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Meal vouchers Workplace: On-site employment
