We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our global IT team in Monterrey. This is a hybrid role requiring extensive technical experience in ServiceNow development—particularly in IT Service Management (ITSM) modules—as well as the ability to design scalable enterprise solutions within a complex global environment. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will design, architect, and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s IT Service Management business requirements. You will work closely with business units, project managers, and technical teams to translate business needs into robust, scalable, and maintainable platform solutions. This role requires strong hands-on development experience, architectural thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively in English with global stakeholders. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Design, develop, and implement enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform aligned with ITSM best practices. * Lead development and configuration in key modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and GRC. * Apply principles of intelligent customization to ensure scalable and secure enhancements across platform upgrades. * Develop custom applications, workflows, and configurations using Flow Designer and Integration Hub, including creation of custom actions. * Design and manage integrations with external systems via REST, SOAP, and other web services. * Provide business intelligence support through Performance Analytics and the Reporting engine. * Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to define solution options, assess risks, and analyze impacts on business processes and technical architecture. * Clearly communicate technical designs and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design documents and developer notes. * Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and training to junior developers and end users as needed. * Ensure compliance with ServiceNow and software development best practices and governance standards. **Qualifications** ------------------ * 5+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform. * Solid experience implementing and supporting ITSM modules in large enterprise environments. * Proven experience in ServiceNow application development, platform configuration, and customization. * Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies such as HTML, CSS (SASS), AngularJS, Bootstrap, AJAX, and SQL. * Experience designing and managing integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services. * Demonstrated ability to define scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively in English within a global environment. * Experience working collaboratively under structured project management methodologies. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS-ITSM. * ITIL v3 Foundation certification. * Experience working in multinational, fast-paced technology environments. * ServiceNow ITSM Development * Enterprise Solution Architecture * Platform Configuration and Customization * JavaScript and Web Technologies * Integration Architecture (REST/SOAP APIs) * CMDB Data Modeling in ServiceNow * Flow Designer and Integration Hub * Performance Analytics and Reporting * Technical Documentation and Knowledge Transfer * Advanced English Communication and Stakeholder Management Learn more at hexagon.com and get inspired by how we drive intelligent change across diverse industries.
