System integration and continuous improvement in an agile environment. **Your Role** We are the GSP (Global Shared Plants) team, and we are looking for an MES Tech responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting MES solutions that ensure continuity and improvement of production at the Guadalajara plant. In this role, you will combine development on the Microsoft stack with frontline production support to resolve critical incidents, deploy enhancements, and ensure MES applications meet operational needs. **Our Team** You will join GSP, a cross-functional team delivering standardized technology solutions and support to global plants. We collaborate closely with operations, quality, and infrastructure teams to optimize production processes through reliable and scalable software. **What You’ll Do** * Design, develop, and implement multi\-tier applications and distributed services on the Microsoft stack (Visual Studio, .NET Framework 4\.5/4\.6, C\#) to support MES processes. * Provide production system support: analyze incidents, release patches and fixes, and collaborate to rapidly and safely restore line operations. * Integrate MES systems with other plant platforms via scalable and maintainable REST and SOAP services. * Enhance the documentation framework (mechanisms that generate documentation from models) and maintain up\-to\-date technical documentation. * Identify, report, and propose functional and user experience improvements for MES software. * Apply agile practices to prioritize deliverables, coordinate releases, and reduce response times. * Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and quality teams to ensure solution availability, performance, and security. **Who You Are (Basic Requirements)** * Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of software development experience. * Experience implementing distributed and scalable web services (REST and SOAP). * Solid knowledge of the Microsoft stack: .NET Framework 4\.5/4\.6, Visual Studio, and C\#. * Operational technical English (approx. 80%): ability to communicate and document in technical English. **What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)** * Specific experience with MES systems and direct support to production lines. * Experience in C\# development for enterprise applications and backend services. * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server / MySQL Server. * Experience working in agile teams and manufacturing/engineering environments. * High level of organization, flexibility, and strong attention to detail to operate effectively in high\-demand environments.
