Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to define operations, machines, and tools; design and implement process improvements; and provide technical support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implementation of continuous improvement processes. 2. Technical support in prototype and pilot batch development. 3. Definition of work routes and fixture design. Education: * Completed or ongoing Industrial Engineering degree (maximum 1 year remaining to graduate) or Technical Degree in Machine Tools. * Technical Degree in CNC Programming. Eng. * Completed or ongoing Mechanical Engineering degree (maximum 1 year remaining to graduate). * **Knowledge** * *Experience operating and programming CNC machines (Min. 1 year)* * *CAD/CAM software knowledge (Min. 1 year)* * *Experience with measuring instruments (Min. 1 year)* * *Technical knowledge and/or skills* * *Knowledge of CNC programming languages.* * *Configuration and parameter adjustments on CNC machines.* * *Knowledge of controllers (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas). CAD/CAM software proficiency. Knowledge of blueprint interpretation (dimensional and geometric tolerances). Knowledge of measuring instruments. Knowledge of machining tools.* **Functions and Responsibilities** Define required operations, machines, and tools in collaboration with departments to establish work routes for prototype development, as well as coordinate with Quality and Development areas. Design and implement continuous improvement processes in production activities by collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering. Provide ongoing technical support during prototype and pilot batch development. Design fixtures required for proper machining processes.
