Job Summary: Heavy Machinery Operator for asphalt pavement maintenance, responsible for operating, supervising, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Field work and local/external travel We are a company dedicated to asphalt pavement maintenance. **Position:** Heavy Machinery Operator **Department:** Field civil works **Reports to:** Site Resident **Position Objective** Operate, supervise, and maintain assigned machinery in optimal condition to ensure production processes are executed efficiently, with quality and safety, in accordance with company-established standards. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Operation of backhoe loaders, seal coat spray rigs, paving equipment, and tractor-trailer units. * Operate machinery and field equipment in compliance with established procedures, technical specifications, and safety guidelines. * Verify general operating conditions of machinery prior to commencing operations, ensuring proper operational status. * Perform basic preventive maintenance activities, such as cleaning, lubrication, and general equipment inspection. * Record production-related information, incidents, downtime, and operating conditions in logbooks, forms, or designated systems. **Experience:** * Minimum 1–2 years’ experience operating construction machinery, production equipment, or specialized machinery. **Technical Knowledge:** * Industrial machinery handling and operation. * Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or industrial electricity. * Basic ability to interpret instructions, technical manuals, and operational procedures. * Industrial safety and hygiene regulations. **Skills and Competencies** * Responsibility * Attention to detail * Teamwork * Discipline * Proactivity * Problem solving * Punctuality * Safety focus * Ability to work under pressure **Working Conditions** * Field construction work. * Shifts involving local or external travel **Performance Indicators** * Project schedule adherence * Effective operating time * Compliance with safety regulations * Material utilization efficiency and waste reduction Salary: $7,000.00 – $20,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
