A well-established metal-mechanical company is seeking: **LABORATORY ANALYST.** Profile: * Experience in the position. * Basic metrology. * Knowledge and/or experience with chromium plating lines and finishing areas. * Knowledge and/or experience with electroplating, chrome plating processes, and finishing. * Technical high school diploma in chemistry or bachelor’s degree in chemistry (recent graduate). Responsibilities: * Collect samples from solutions on electroplating lines and perform corresponding analyses. * Issue reports of volumetric analysis results. * Evaluate analysis results to determine appropriate additions to solutions based on analysis reports. * Verify and ensure that required additions to solutions are performed according to analysis reports. * Perform and interpret Hull cells as needed. * Based on historical quantitative analysis data and workload, evaluate and schedule solution replacement, maintenance, and preparation. * Maintain and prepare assigned reports. * Develop procedures and work instructions as required. * Conduct thickness monitoring on processed parts as required.
