An **importer and distributor of meat products** is currently seeking a **Logistics Assistant**, with immediate start. We are looking for an organized individual with a strong sense of urgency. **Requirements** * Completed technical high school diploma or studies in International Business, International Trade, or Logistics. * 1 year of experience in logistics operations or international trade. * Basic knowledge of customs regulations. * Experience in activities related to imports. * Basic English (reading and writing). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. **Key Responsibilities** * Planning and tracking of logistics processes. * Recording and control of purchase orders. * Monitoring transit times and carrier appointment compliance. * Documentation management for imports (collection and submission to customs broker). * Sending instructions to suppliers, carriers, and customs agencies. * Preparing reports. **Key Skills** * Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize delivery timelines * Problem-solving skills * Adaptability and ability to work in dynamic environments * Effective communication with suppliers and carriers **We Offer** * Salary: $15,000 monthly, take-home pay * Statutory benefits * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. * Job stability * Training and career development Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $14,800.00 - $15,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * How many years of experience do you have in logistics or international trade? * In your previous work experience, have you supported or tracked shipments or orders? * Have you worked with logistics or import documentation?
